Take part in the Battle of the Pitches at the Catalisti Day
Do you have an innovation idea or project proposal that could enhance or promote sustainability in the chemical and plastics industries, and you would like to bring it to an interested, qualified audience? Then submit your abstract to take part in the Battle of the Pitches at the Catalisti Day, June 6!
The Battle of the Pitches is a unique opportunity to gain awareness for your early-stage idea or concept, get valuable feedback and identify potential project partners.
How to take part:
- Submit your abstract by using the application form. Don’t worry about including details, we are looking for the overall concept.
- If your abstract is accepted, prepare a poster, which will be presented in the poster room at Catalisti Day (All accepted pitches are invited to submit a poster, whether they are selected for the Battle or not).
- Our jury will select 5 of the accepted abstracts for the Battle of the Pitches.
- If you are selected for the Battle of the Pitches, prepare a 2-minute oral pitch (no slides or other materials are permitted) to present your project proposal, idea or concept in a competitive format.
- The winner of the “Battle” will be chosen through a combination of both a selection committee and a televoting by the audience during the Catalisti Day lunch break.
- You are the winner? You get the stage for 10 minutes to present your idea, including slides! Plus, you receive direct feedback from the audience during a 5-minute Q&A.
- The Battle of the Pitches is open exclusively for Catalisti members – from the industry or knowledge centres.
Who knows: winner or not, maybe your pitch or poster will spark a new conversation that will lead to an opportunity to put your idea into practice in a future Catalisti project?
Timing:
- May 16: Deadline for submitting abstracts.
- May 16: Participants will be notified of the acceptance of their abstract for the poster session.
- May 20: Participants are informed of whether they will take part in the Battle of the Pitches.
- June 6: Battle of the Pitches at Catalisti Day.
