2nd International Conference on Circular Economy for Textiles and Plastics

Which steps towards circularity has the plastics and textile sector taken over the course of the last few years? Fancy a scientific update? Then make sure not to miss the second edition of Centexbel’s International Conference on Circular Economy for Textiles and Plastics from 15-16 December 2020 in Bruges, Belgium.

This conference will focus on the approach and efforts of the textile and plastics industries in the field of circularity. It will address key research themes to translate the following principles of the circular model into concrete actions and policies:
– Reducing waste and pollution through design
– Extending the life of products and materials
– Regenerating natural systems

The event will include lectures, B2B meetings, stands, and a poster show. Scientists and researchers are invited to submit scientific posters of their research activities and results within the scope of the conference. The poster show is an important part of the event and will be accessible during breaks and lunch. During the poster sessions, a jury, composed of the chair people, will select the award winning poster. All scientific posters are reviewed and rated on the basis of their scientific quality, clarity and impact. The highest scoring scientific poster will be announced during the closing lecture. Deadline for submission of poster abstracts: 15 October 2020.
