BlueChem: Catalisti’s New Home

In only a few weeks’ time, Catalisti will say goodbye to Antwerp’s Havenhuis and move to BlueChem, the incubator for sustainable chemistry located within the brand-new business park Blue Gate Antwerp.

After years of calling Antwerp’s Havenhuis home, Catalisti will officially move to BlueChem from 1 April 2020 onwards. At BlueChem, we will be joined by several start-ups, growth companies and research institutes that seek to drive the sustainable chemistry of the future. “BlueChem is the ideal operating base for us, in line with our sustainability goals”, says Jan Van Havenbergh, managing director of Catalisti. “BlueChem promises to not only become an innovative incubator, but the sustainability hotspot in the centre of the chemical industry”.

Moving to BlueChem will allow Catalisti to better catalyse long-term innovation and fully develop the potential of the chemical and plastics industry in Flanders. As Jan Van Havenbergh puts it: “Our office will change, our core focus will remain. In chemical terms: the reactor changes but the yield will be even higher than before.”
